I remember you talking about this before but couldn't find the details
For some reason I'm picturing something that looks a little bit like Journey Escape, keeping things a little linear to over come the # of objects limitations.
It still needs a code import feature and has a number of small bugs, but you should check out my new atari 2600 player graphics editor: http://alienbill.com/2600/playerpalnext.html (MSIE and Firefox)
I figured having the katamari display four scrolling objects on its surface would be adequate for the 2600 version. You could even have an unevenly-balanced katamari that way. Two interlaced players, of course.
But the difficult part would be designing a wide enough array of objects for it to actually be fun to play.

Date: 2005-05-25 03:33 pm (UTC)It might be hard to duplicate the "object is attached to ball effect"
Maybe use a PF as the ball, so you have both players available for "stuff"? I dunno...it's a tough trail either way!
