When I heard that there was a program that I could easily qualify for, where I could go to Japan and teach English for a year, I wanted to get on the next plane over there.

Why is it that things like that don't scare me, but dating does?

Well, tonight I'm going to see about getting tickets to Toronto for Thanksgiving weekend. Giant arkple going on, and I'd like to be there and finally meet some of the Kibologists of the northeast.

Two nights ago, plane tickets were pretty affordable. But, now it's Thursday. The only reason I've waited this long is because I am not quite certain about sleeping arrangements.

And wardrobe. I'm from Phoenix, which is the opposite of Toronto. I'll need lots of jackets and sweaters and whatever else you cold people like to wear.

More adventures in annoyingness.

It's been 36 hours since I complained to my upstairs neighbor about noise late at night.

And tonight at about 7:30 I noticed a loud television in an adjacent apartment. I put my ear to my bedroom wall, and heard only background noise. I put my ear to my living room wall, and heard a woman talking, maybe on the phone. I put my ear to the wall dividing my bedroom and living room, and heard a loud television. I walked outside and stood in front of my apartment, and I could hear the television even more clearly. It was definitely coming from his bedroom.

Does this guy actually want me to complain, for some twisted, imperceptible reason? If he tries to pull that shit late at night, he'll have to contend with both me and his own next-door neighbor, with a TV that loud. Does he want to get kicked out of the complex, or does he just want to lure me up to his apartment so he can invite me in and have someone to bore?

There's an Elvis movie on TV. "It Happened at the Worlds Fair."

They took a monorail-like thing... and, lo! It's the Space Needle! I've been there. And I took that monorail! And I saw all those rides. They're much less impressive when they're not in a movie in the 60's.

There's also one of those rocketship-shaped cars.

Where are the flying cars? I was told there would be flying cars!
