Do any of you who read my LJ actually watch TV?
It seems the crowd I gather seems to not even have cable. Many of them, both in and out of town, have small TV's buried in the corner of their living room.
I don't mean in the sense of having one or two series that you're following, or maybe you own a season of a TV show on DVD. I mean watching TV the way the common man does, flipping channels and even following a reality show or two.
TV Guide's 100 Greatest TV Moments is on TV right now. I thought, this would be the perfect thing to watch with a group of friends. It would be a great conversation-starter; we'd all talk about where we were when the OJ verdict came down, whether we'd even seen that I Love Lucy episode, etc. Then I realized that most of my friends would think that watching TV about watching TV would be seen as the dumbest activity I could possibly suggest to them.
So who among you can think down to my level without getting a headache?

Our reality show of choice is Ultimate Fighter, though I was also rather fond of Driver X when it was on.

Regarding reality shows: I didn't watch them for a long time, but now I'm watching Project Runway. Oh well.
I watch a giant assload of TV.

I'm way behind on SG:Atlantis and SG-1-- still watching last season but recording this season. I'm 2 seasons back on BSG and haven't really started watching. Also currently watching season 2 of Arrested Development.
