Do any of you who read my LJ actually watch TV?

It seems the crowd I gather seems to not even have cable.  Many of them, both in and out of town, have small TV's buried in the corner of their living room.

I don't mean in the sense of having one or two series that you're following, or maybe you own a season of a TV show on DVD.  I mean watching TV the way the common man does, flipping channels and even following a reality show or two.

TV Guide's 100 Greatest TV Moments is on TV right now.  I thought, this would be the perfect thing to watch with a group of friends.  It would be a great conversation-starter; we'd all talk about where we were when the OJ verdict came down, whether we'd even seen that I Love Lucy episode, etc.  Then I realized that most of my friends would think that watching TV about watching TV would be seen as the dumbest activity I could possibly suggest to them.

So who among you can think down to my level without getting a headache?
