Date: 2005-05-31 02:31 am (UTC)Out and about: Window shopping, dining out, writing at coffee shops on yellow legal pads (the more furiously the better, as far as getting complete strangers to come up ask you what you're doing), going to movies, watching some obscure yet promising band at local bar, or my complete and personal favorite: sitting around with friends and shooting the breeze for hours on end.

Date: 2005-05-31 03:31 am (UTC)But getting back to your question, I find any activity that leaves a visible effect feels quite rewarding. Some good examples: cleaning, lawn-mowing, and shelving library books.
