Anything you're worried might be mistaken for a weapon I guess you could check through.
Electric razor? I doubt that would be mistaken for a weapon-- but I believe you'd need seperate adaptors to use in the UK and on the continent-- or is it battery powered?
You should not shave for the entire trip. It will make you look adventurous.
My electric razor was in the baggage I checked and they subsequently lost the last time I air-travelled, so I dunno. They'd probably just swab it with the wand they use on laptop computers.
