Another question for drivers: this year, I'm starting to see ads on TV for solar car fans that attach to the window, like this fan I found on the web, but I can't prove it's the same one I saw on TV.

My question to you is: do these things really work, and do they hold up under the 110-degree days we're seeing this month?

I figure, even if all it does is blow the surface temperature of the steering wheel and seats down a little, then it's a net win.

Beats me.

I think what they do is provide a way for the superheat air to get out of your car.
