unbibiumTam has lots of good pictures of me, but her favorite one has me with the evilest red-eye in the universe. Also, Joe Manfre was giving me bunny-ears. What a grown-up thing to do.
I helped Tam go grocery shopping. It was the first time she'd been away from Joe in 48 hours, and she was relieved to have a break like that. She's a bit stressed out about the whole houseguest situation. I really expected I'd be staying one night at Dan's house at least, but everyone keeps staying up later than I"m willing to. She lives in a great neighborhood, and she knows it well. Tiny mall, though.
Since peaches are still out of season, I can't make my ultimate curried chicken dish for everyone. So Tam is going to teach em to make jerk chicken. Well, kinda. With the store-bought marinade. Should be good, though, as it's something I've never made before, so I might as well learn to make it right.
The weekend isn't going as Tam had planned. Nor I, really. But we're making the most of it.
