I've discovered that many emulators now have the ability to record AVI files.

So I now can provide video proof that the game starts by receiving a marriage proposal from a tree.

Between the development of a good version of Fraps (http://www.fraps.com) for making movies of DirectX graphics, Battlefield 2's BattleRecorder, and "The Movies," all of the sites that store movies made of computer games are getting flooded with the those two games and WoW videos of widely variable quality. I thank goodness that the video sites of google and yahoo have come along just in time to deal with the flood.

So I'm sure you'll give us a link after you upload.

What, upload there? Can I? wow.

I'll have to edit them together, or do a faster run of them. Nobody wants to watch me solve lame block puzzles for two minutes. Maybe there's a way I don't have to...

Well, I don't know that we need full gameplay videos, but unless you want to host, yourself, the video proof you allude to, or you can mix and edit your puzzle-solving into some fascinating machinima.

I mean, when at work, I watch Battlefield 2 gameplay videos to live vicariously through other players, even though I found the "aren't we the new hardasses" music that inevitably gets mixed in to be almost intolerable.

Er, I didn't finish the thought. Unless you want to host it yourself, by all means upload it to google or youtube. But I was referring specifically to the tree's proposal (there's probably some joke about rings here, what with trees having so many rings and all) or, if you can create it, some interesting presentation of puzzle-solving.

Let's see: Upload to video.google (https://upload.video.google.com/) (if you have a gmail account, I bet you can use that instead of creating a new account there) or else Upload on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/signup_login?next=/my_videos_upload). There's also Fileplanet.com, but you might have to be a subscirber to upload there.
