- Hey cool, you landed your own show on Comedy Central despite the fact that you stole Lewis Black's delivery and your schtick is nothing but a series of racial slurs with no actual jokes to back them up, followed by "Oops, was that controversial? I don't care! I'll say anything!" or a variation thereof. If you're still on the air in six months and Stella is gone, I swear I will personally not be surprised or do anything at all.

I get the feeling that "Mind of Mencia" was conceived as a placeholder until the vastly superior "Chappelle's Show" goes back into production. If and whenever that will be.

Speaking of self-degrading racial epithets passing as comedy, "Weekends on the D.L.". The commerical where D.L. Hughley says he's "just like Jon Stewart... with an afro... and bad credit... who can't catch a cab." Way to celebrate your heritage there, guy.

DL Hughley had a hit sitcom? IMDb says... "The Hughleys". Never heard of it.

"Weekends" was at least better than "Mind of Mencia"; the little bit of Mencia I saw last week had Cheech Marin as a guest, and it was embarassingly bad. Hughley is also a very intelligent guy, or at least comes across as such in interviews.
