sturdy enough to make me want to switch from Rubbermaid? From the ads, it looks about as durable as GladWare.

It's in between, but closer to Sterilite or whatever that Rubbermaid knock-off brand is. They're not as thick as Rubbermaid, but I'll feel a lot less bad about just throwing the thing away if it's full of strange soupy growing stuff. :-)

I've never seen an infomercial for that. As far as I know, that's just a mail-order product with the one-minute spot that ends in the Blue Screen of Order Now.
