Feeling down in the dumps from all the stuff I broke yesterday, I decided to get out and buy some necessities for my upcoming trip.
I got some thermal underwear. I don't think two pairs will be enough, but it's all Sports Authority had left in stock that was my size. I had no idea I'd be paying more for them than I do for my jeans. Are there places that still sell leg warmers?
I also got a mini-Rough Guide to New York City. It's smaller than the regular Rough Guide, but the print is the same size.
Also, I got another radio pen for $6. If I take care of this one, and find a place to store the spare batteries and refill that came with the first one, then I'll probably be able to keep this until someone invents one that plays MP3's, too. Or, I could decide to get one of those MP3 watches. I tell you, if I had correctible vision, I'd have a massive array of tiny little gadgets hanigng off my belt at all times. I'd have a bandolier with a flock of Tamagotchi across my chest at all times. And I'd name them all.

Just for you!
