I've seen a Livejournaler or two with a user icon that flashes the message, "December 17, Legolas DIES. Deal." I have to admit, I was tempted to use it myself. Orlando Bloom makes me realize how women probably feel about the scantily-clad women that abound in anime and sci-fi.
(not a spoiler, just a relay of a rumor -- these icons were seen long before the release of the movie.)

Date: 2003-12-21 11:21 am (UTC)You've seen the movie. Your previous entry so states. You therefore know whether Legolas dies in the movie.
I have read the book. It's fifty years old, so I'm not overly concerned about spoilers, especially given this context. Legolas does not die in the book.
Either you have posted a spoiler or you have not. If you have, then good manners demands that you take it down or at least hide it. If you have not, then good manners demands that you make it clear that it is, in fact, not one.
