Whenever my TiVo records something, I catch about one second of what was on before it, as the cable box sometimes lags behind in changing channels. I should start cataloging them.
This time, it was Eddie Izzard, from his "Dress to Kill" special, saying "'cause the monkey would fuck off". This was right before the channel changed to the Futurama episode where the monkey goes to college.
A few months ago, this blip was of BBC America, and there was clearly a naked woman on the screen, barely concealed enough to be broadcast-safe. I never found out what that program was, or whether any part of it more flagrantly defied American standards and practices.
Usually these blips are of shows I watch and recognize, since often the TiVo had just finished recording something else on a channel I watch frequently.
