Pork is $3/pound at my local Fry's. That's, like, more than half off.

I'm half-considering going back and buying another five pounds' worth just to put in the freezer to thaw as needed, but then I wonder if I'm going to go through pork quickly enough even for the freezer.

It's times like this I wish I were in Europe or a Europe-like city, across the street from an open-air market, rather than in Phoenix, half a mile away from a single, but rather small supermarket.

To me, Fry's still means "crappy, suspect computer parts sold by surly or apathetic people with a minimal grasp of English".

Five pounds should be plenty for you. You could easily freeze half of that. Mmmm, pork.

Yeah, i know. The guy who started the Fry's Electronics stores in the Bay Area (and then bought out some Incredible Universe stores) is the same guy (or might be related to the guy) who had Fry's supermarkets.

I think our local Fry's Electronics used to be an Incredible Universe too.
