Writing GUI for the C64 is HARD!

I suppose you're wondering how I'm progressing on making that game for the Contiki Desktop Environment.
Well, it looks like there's no hard documentation about how to program for it, and it doesn't seem to be designed in a very programmer-friendly manner. You can't just write a program, compile it and "run" it from Contiki; it has to be compiled right into the OS. And adding a program requires one to modify a lot of files, as I discovered when trying to add a "Hello World" program to the desktop. I'm still not finished.
Maybe I'll wait for the next few versions and maybe by then it'll be a little more developer-friendly.
