Date: 2002-11-18 04:18 pm (UTC)It's amazing - the lengths that people will go to protect their "image" (in the case of the obviously upper-middle-class Summers) ... but it's even more amazing how far some people will go to do the right thing.
I hope those parents never see their children again ... that is just NOT the kind of lesson in good parenting that they need.
