Sep. 14th, 2002 09:08 amThere is something delightfully subversive about a PlayStation game which features both Squaresoft and classic Disney characters. Yes, you play alongside Goofy and Donald.
I imagine
miwasatoshi might say, "That's... just... WRONG!" Well, WRONG can have many meaning, some of them good. In this case, it's wrong in a delightfully subversive sort of way, like Tendrils would be if it existed.
I used the term "subversive" to describe Super Smash Bros. in a recent post. Since the NES came out, the video game industry has been constrained by a lot of seemingly arbitrary rules.
Might be worth checking out, though all the Squaresoft references would be lost on me, having not played much RPGs.
