Sep. 10th, 2002 03:17 pmThis week's Onion has a story on a man whose birthday is September 11. It makes me wish a real article were written about it, because I know someone whose birthday is September 11.
Last year, my September 11 was very eventful. I had an eye doctor appointment, I went to a THEM meeting where we all just skipped the meeting and went to Boston's, but not before the birthday girl stormed out in frustration for some non-terrorist-related reason. Of course, I sat at the end of the table with all the panicky people; all the level-headed people who were keeping their cool were at the other end, so immediately after my meal I got up and hovered around their end. Swing dancing that night was cancelled, and there was a note posted that anyone who wanted to could meet at Coffee Plantation. I did, and it didn't really help, so I went home.
This year, however, I'm going out for beer.

No TV, thank you. But I won't be overbearing about it.
