unbibiumIt's amazing how many dreams one can have in a few short hours of sleep.
In the last 24 hours, I've slept three times, for periods of two to three hours each. And in each of them I've had the kind of vivid dreams I usually only have on the Saturday morning following these early shift weeks.
In one, I woke up at work in a parallel universe where everything was just better. I was working at a video game company with very stylish cubicles, lots of women. Once I realized it was a dream, I got a bit nervous that my subconscious must be bracing for an awful day, if it feels the need to drum up this much endorphine. But I think it was just trying to remind me that, as much as I say that things could be worse, it's also true that things could be better.
I wonder if there's any truth to what Kramer said in that Seinfeld episode, where Leonardo da Vinci slept 20 minutes every three hours.
