I burned all my music directories onto a CD ful of MP3's. I loaded up Winamp and let it loose and it's making work a lot more bearable.
My stereo system is a five-year-old $70 boom box with an analog radio tuner, tape player and single CD player. It's in the living room; there's no room for it in the bedroom right now. I need to get a table for that among other reasons.
My computer speakers are pretty good, but the subwoofer is on the floor and I'm overly sensitive to the prospect of bothering my neighbors. But there's no other place where it'll fit and the wires will reach, just yet. I've lost the power supply to my wireless headset, and I might have fried it recently by using the wrong power supply with it.
Then I need to get me a modest stereo for the living room, so I can listen to the radio while I cook. Maybe a cheap mini-radio from Walgreen's will suffice, as I'll want to be able to change the station from the kitchen and don't want to be letting my food burn while I hunt for the remote.
