unbibiumInteresting experience today listening to other people's car stereos.
On the way here I heard some weird reggae-pop and most of the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack. On the way back I heard a recent Eminem album. He's very stream-of-consciousness and very bitter about how he's being taken too seriously.
These experiences surrounded one of these companywide seminar things held in a hotel. All the company's highest tiers got their chance to masturbate behind a podium to an audience that was kept seated for two and a half hours at a time. Two hours into it, a speaker got down and most people got up and started heading towards the exits. Many, including myself, made it as far as the lobby when an usher came out and told us they weren't done yet and it would be just a while longer, and then a half hour later we got a ten-minute break.
So am I really supposed to be soaking in six hours worth of information about all of my company's Internet subsidiaries?
