I have picked up my cable modem, and the magic box that will deliver Digital Cable to my television set, to see if I really need that much TV.

It'll be nice to see what's on IFC, unless they screwed me and gave me a really lame package.

When I had digital cable, I lost many many many hours to IFC. Plus, there was MST3K from time to time on Sci-Fi. Other than that, it didn't get much use outside of channels I watched that were already provided by the old-fashioned kind of cable.

I get most of the channels I like already with analog.

But my problem now is that my digital box not only doesn't work, but seems to interfere with the cable modem.
