Selecting a moving day.

Since I've been living out of a suitcase for a month, and most of my essentials (bed, computer, etc) are at my house, it's conceivable that I could do a partial move this Saturday, with my dad and some relatives helping me get the computer, my clothes, the bed, and a few essentials into the apartment I've reserved. I'd live there for a week, and then I'd invite everyone over to help me move the rest of my crap the following Saturday.

Pros: It seems I could get more people next week, including vyus and ernunnos. Also, if I decide I don't like the location, we could start by moving my tiny subset of stuff to the NEW new place first, which should be a snap if we have enough people. If I decide to stick with the place they've given me, the move becomes ridiculously easy. And either way, we'll probably spend more time eating pizza and watching movies afterwards than actually moving.

Cons: For one, I don't get everything done in one shot as originally planned. Also, the moving party was going to double as a welcome-home party in which I would spin yarns about my month in Europe. It just feels awkward.

But the deciding factor is, of course, will I get more people?
