Apr. 13th, 2002 07:28 pmLooks like the other Berlin walks don´t go into full swing until May. So I bought a ticket on one of those bus tours.
The walking tour was better, really, but I got to sit down and relax, and get off and poke around in the Sony Center, where I found an electronics store in which I loitered for a while, before getting back on the bus.
The bus was detoured a coupole of times by protesters. We don´t know about what, I imagine something Bush is doing. Also several times just a few minutes ago, I noticed processions of tackily-decorated cars honking for no apparent reason, occasionally slowing down to obstruct traffic... I don´t know what any of it was about.
Also saw the yoo. Got pics of a German tourist more adventurous than I taunting a monkey.
I thought I knew where the Erotikmuseum was from spotting it on the bus tour. I shall see it either tonight or tomorrow, but I won´t miss it. I intend for it to make up for me missing the Red Light District in Amdsterdam.
So what else to do in Berlin... hmmm.

The tacky cars

I forget the name and address, but it's just a block or two south of Unter den Linden, behind the Opera. It's an easy walk east from Brandenburg Gate to both cathedrals.
