I left my Set game in London, it being bulky and prone to falling apart, especially since I lost the rubber band keeping the cards together.

I haven't missed it because I've been staying either with Philip or in hotels alone.

Now that I'm in a hostel full of fellow travellers, I suppose I could use a good conversation-starter.

Fortunately, I have a better idea. Another Set deck would be hard to find in this city, but it would easy to find a set for a quick game of 1000 Blank White Cards.

Maybe?

Well, the problem is that solitaire versions of that game don't really sound like fun...

Doesn't Set come in a box? Unless you broke it, but it seems to be a sturdy box.
