Jun. 25th, 2021 05:54 amif the AZDHS website is accurate, a scant half of Arizona's population is vaccinated, including 85% of people over 65, the proportion decreasing in each age group. The infection rates have been vaguely flat for about a month or two, and are starting to swell up again.
Anecdotally, even the conservatives in my family have gotten the jab, because they were old enough to get it before their media sources started sowing doubt about it. But the only person in my family under 40 is my 10-year-old niece, so there's an entire generation I have nothing on. The only people I know who admit to not wanting the vaccine are alternative medicine types in their 40s.
