home office stuff
Mar. 15th, 2020 01:07 pmso, i'm going to move some stuff around at home finally, putting some notes here
my microwave has a 24x18 inch footprint and is on a 32x24 inch panel atop a very precarious combination of a wine fridge and plastic shelf.... i don't think i'll mess with that just yet
but i can put a kitchen island in the middle, if it's in the 36-inch range. there's a lot of open space but not so much that i can put the larger ones in...
the space to the left of my bed could be a new computer desk.... i know i should reclaim the office from my cats, but i think if I have my computer desk there, I can roll out of bed more easily and get into it. i can probably move the drawers I have now to under the bedroom TV... i got like 56 inches of space.... a MICKE corner desk is like 55x39 inches. if i put the long end opposite the bed, i still have about 15 inches of space for a real nightstand... the ordinary horizontal MICKE is 41.4 x 20 inches.
not sure i should be spending this much money while the economy is collapsing but if i do lose my job i'll be at home a lot and will need it arranged well.
