I am mortal, and growing older. It is Friday, and I only get a few thousand Fridays in my life.

And yet, I remain unmotivated to go out and do anything.

JJ's Cantina is like right down the street, I could go have a beer and do karaoke there almost effortlessly.

but, why...

so I went out, and... well... meh.

Some kid wanted to play the video game and put in a quarter. It said "CREDITS 1/2" in such a blurry font that his dad misread it as "1/8" and then I put in the second quarter and it said "CREDITS 1" and I saved the day.

There were about a dozen senior citizens and I was about an hour early for karaoke.

And in the attached restaurant room there was a comedy contest, with no audience. It's hard to laugh in that situation, even if the comics can take it in stride. Too much pressure on me to be the whole audience.

I left before karaoke started.

I can't do this by myself.
