Feb. 6th, 2009 08:22 amI finally cracked open "Head First C#" today.
The first chapter walks you through the IDE and setting up a table in SQL Server. There's only one line of C# in the whole chapter that you have to type in.
But, I didn't know this much about Visual Studio before, and it's also taught me about how my apartment isn't set up for programming books just yet; I've got some furniture to move.
It occurs to me that if I had spent the entire last ten months studying something, not only would I now be really awesome at that one thing, but I wouldn't have spewed so much whiny crap on LJ.
I think I actually tried that a few times but kept switching goals, or losing sight of them.
