wrong turn
Dec. 8th, 2007 11:23 pmSo I was getting a ride home. She asked me "which way should I turn, left or right?" I checked my REI compass in the dark and it looked kinda like we were going north, so I said to turn left. And we did. And I was wrong.
We were talking up a storm, and about twenty minutes later I thought to ask, "what street did we just cross?" And she said "Idaho". We have a major street named Idaho? I proposed that perhaps we were going the wrong way.
We were quickly proven right when we hit the end of Broadway Road. Actually, as you'll see on the map, it's really just a gap, but still.
But we turned around and now I'm home safe. If it weren't for that gap, who knows where we would have ended up.
