LJ and "fandom"

The Terrible Secret of Livejournal is not about my journal.  My journal has no "fandom" in it, and my friends list has no fanfic or fanart in it.  But I've read enough complaints that maybe this applies to some of you. ( Read about the Internet, and the freedom we've all been stealing with it. )
