Ever since I bought my new router, my Win2K box has been popping up an "Enter Network Password" box every time I open an application that uses the Internet.  The admin password I use to log into the router's HTTP interface works.

It doesn't tell me which application wants to use the Internet, so at launch I get all these boxes that I assume come from my instant messenger, LJ client, etc.  If one of them were a spyware or spambot, I'd have no idea, so the process is useless.

How do I get rid of these extra dialog boxes?

Or should I just wait until the new Macs come out Tuesday and buy one of them?

A couple of people in my friends list recently expressed interest in going to Disneyland, and another expressed interest in never going to Disneyland ever again.

Well, one day's admission to Disneyland is now $71, so take that into account.

Granted, you could also pay that much to see a Broadway-style show that lasts a few hours. Everything's expensive when you're a tourist.

If I want to walk around and watch people in costumes pretend to be fictional characters, I can just wait for the Renaissance Festival to come around, pay under $20 for admission. That leaves me $51 to spend on crepes and ceramic dragons.

At least three of these animations are by Trey Parker and Matt Stone.  I first heard these Alan Watts recordings on some Shoutcast internet stations many years ago, it gave me a lot to think about.
