Nobody liked Showgirls.

But for those of you who think the only problem with that movie was too much nudity, and that it would be very watchable if it were edited for TV and shown with commercial interruptions, you can watch it on TNT right now.

Hurry, it's just starting!  You'll miss vital plot points!

Spoiler-phobia.

Here's another way the Star Wars prequels ruined the decade.

Star Wars Episode 3 was the last one released, and it ends before the beginning of the first one was released.  So it was impossible to spoil.  What, are you going to go into random Youtube comments and yell "the standoff between Obi-Wan and Vader happens on a lava planet"?

If the Star Wars movies were released in order, then assholes would have spoiled the final episode of that, and then fandom would have evolved the necessary defenses.

And the resulting quarantine procedures would have been hilarious to behold.  "Don't eat at restaurants!  The waiters will work spoilers into their explanation of today's special!"

plans for today:

1. go to downtown Tempe, see Ratatouille.
2. go to downtown Phoenix, see Hung Dynasty and probably nine other bands play.
3. scrounge a ride home, as the buses will have stopped running.
4. resume sleep/eat/work/eat/TV/sleep cycle.
