Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] sunburn, I found some online video of Koreans playing televised Starcraft games.

Hardly any of it is translated into English, so I don't understand why someone would fly their burning barracks all over the map. But occasionally something cool happens, like tanks getting pwned by spider mines.

I'm seeing a lot more people being told off dramatically with "Good day, sir!" in the media. Most recently, in the recent Nova special about E=mc².

And if the other party continued to talk, they would be cut off by "I said, good day!"

It just occurred to me that "Good day" should have been the standard phrase to announce the end of a video game, instead of "Game Over".

And then if the player kept messing with the joystick without inserting another quarter, the display would change to "I said good day!"
