In towns as ravaged as those hit by Katrina, is there such a thing as looting anymore? If you're actually stuck in the flood, and all your remaining possessions are on your back, that's just survival, isn't it?

For the last few months, my iBook's desktop wallpaper has been a picture of Audobon Park that I took in New Orleans last year.

And today, oddly enough, the plug for its charger bent and will no longer attach. I'd better make that last hour of battery life count.
