Jun. 29th, 2005 07:57 pmI have a DVD burner. Now I can archive all that video I've been downloading in a format that can be watched on TV. And it'll last, well, until bit rot gets the best of it. By that time, maybe there'll be something bigger and better to archive it on.
With that in mind, maybe I should have my parents bring over all my Commodore 64 disks, hoping they haven't all melted in the garage, and copy what I can onto a big ol' CD-R. I'll label it "My Childhood."
I wonder if someone has all my old Atari disks, and if, despite being a few years older, they're in better condition.
