I went to Ikea today and finally bought a badly-needed dresser and cabinet. They're being delivered Saturday.

What amazes me about that place is how good the restaurant is. It costs as little as typical fast food and cafeteria-style buffets, but the food actually tastes like food. And it's in a furniture store. It makes me wonder why so many restaurants, which sell food and only food, can afford to be so awful.

I used to talk myself out of moving out of Phoenix, by the argument that I know people in Phoenix and if I moved to a new city I'd be just starting over.

Except, I don't really talk to anyone I know in Phoenix, either on the phone or in person, more than once every two weeks or so. That excludes coworkers.

Family would visit every few months instead of every month.
