Step 1: Download the Atari800 emulator for your favorite platform. There's a particularly good Windows port.
Step 2: Download XAGON.ATR here.
Step 3: Start the Atari emulator, with XAGON.ATR in disk drive 1.
Step 4: Press F5 or Shift-F5 to reset or reboot the machine, respectively, or F4 to start the game from the title screen.
Step 5: Use the joystick to stomp all the platforms so they're level. Like Q*Bert.
Step 6: Use the button to either jump in place, or to fling monsters off of adjacent platforms.
I really wish I could send everyone this game as a Windows .EXE file, because it's pretty cool, but I don't think a lot of people would go through the trouble of downloading an emulator for it. But at least Mac users aren't left out this way.
