Wow, computer people sure have ego problems.

I downloaded a package of codecs from some fansub website somewhere, because i had all these Hikaru no Go episodes I couldn't watch for some reason.

So it reboots my computer and there are now three big red balls in my system tray, and each one represents some obscure codec, as if to say "Well, just in case you wanted to play movies compressed with Morgan Multimedia, I'm going to put up this red ball to clutter up your taskbar to make sure you know you can play that if you need to." And right-click doesn't bring up the menu, left-click does. And there are three red balls just like that.

And it still wouldn't play my Hikaru no Go episodes.

I think I know why I keep putting off studying that Japan guidebook. Every time I pick it up, Japan seems a little more intimidating.

About a year ago, I put up a Telnet BBS on my computer.

I'm thinking of doing it again.

Originally, it was an Atari BBS, but I'd really much rather put up a Commodore 64 BBS, since I've finally found an online copy of Color64. Except, there doesn't seem to be any program out there that will allow callers to use color/graphics, so it seems kind of pointless.

Well, not entirely pointless -- it'll probably be easier for me to set up games like Empire and Nuke'Em on Color 64. Those were half the reason I called.
