Sep. 12th, 2002 04:42 amI was reading the description of a livejournal "user" who also liked classic video games but complained about street-fighting video games.
It then suddenly occurred to me that it seems the fighters have gone out of style; I don't see them being played when I go to GameWorks, and I don't hear about them in the media. If they weren't pass, they'd be up to Mortal Kombat 8 by now.
Now they have Dance Dance Revolution, which is either getting people laid or extending people's virginity to unheard-of lengths, depending on who you ask. But at least now video games aren't isolating us the way they used to.
