I'll be flying to San Francisco this afternoon. Well, Oakland actually. Then I go to Concord for the NOAH conference, then I get two nights in SF proper, then back to Oakland for the flight home. Don't know if I will have access, or really what to say about the whole anticipation deal... big writer's block here.
I will say the timing could have been better, as I only yesterday got The Magic Machine: A Handbook of Computer Sorcery, the first programming book I've bought in a long time. Within hours, I'd already programmed a crude Mandelbrot generator, and now I've got the urge to experiment right when I'm going to be spending days away from my computer. Blast.
But I am very lucky to be able to take a long weekend only three months after coming back from a month's vacation in Europe.
