A public response to Poot, in hypertext.

Yeah, Ebert really tore Rollerball a new one, and certainly reading his review of Super Troopers will be more entertaining than the movie itself.

BTW, contrary to what Ebert might think, I do know, vaguely, what a Dogma film is, but I must confess it is only due to the spinoff, Dogma 2001: A Challenge to Gamers.

Shorter version of previous post:

I'm feeling needy, but not yet to the point of depression. I have a hunch I should stay in.

Advantages to staying in:

• The people at Bash on Ash don't get to see me like this.
• If the Bash on Ash is going to do any extra-squishy Valentine's Day crap, I'll avoid getting all bitter and lonely about it.
• Can play video games, or get ready for my trip/move, in that order.
• Save $20 in expenses, can put it towards trip or to an Internet flying-date thing I'd like to plan.

Advantages to going out:

• I just might keep my cool and have fun for a time.
• I just might meet someone I like there.
• I do not risk my skills getting rusty before next week.

I know that in the end, I'll have to figure this out for myself.
