I went shopping with my parents today. We first went to Romanelli's, the Italian grocery store by their place, to pick up some food for my uncle Vic, whose birthday is within a few days of today. They have groceries there, and they have a few restaurant booths and tables set up for people who order from the deli or bakery in there and want to eat there. My mother noticed a bag of pasta that looked like bugs; the bag said it was called "Radiatori", so I bought some. The old Italian guy at the cashier recognized me from when I used to stop by there during high school for a metaball sandwich. Strange.

Now I've got to gather up all these CDs and empty jewel cases... my mother talked me into buying this ugly metal CD shelf to go with my ugly metal shelf because it was on sale, and now my stuff-my-burned-CDs-in-the-book-thingy strategy is no longer useful. And I have nowhere to put the hamper anymore.

Also, I've spent a little time cleaning my kitchen, and finding some very stubborn stains. Mostly splatters on the wall that I've forgotten about for too long. The counters are clean, though.

"Ballad of Jed Clampett", better known as the Beverly Hillblillies Theme, is the first song being promoted in a bluegrass collection they're selling on TV. I wonder if there's more to that song than is in the theme, that is, assuming it wasn't written just for the show.
