(no subject)

Back in my own apartment once again, with my toys. Don't quite know what to play with first. These toys aren't really for playing.

I figured out my digital camera but don't quite know what to do with it, and I've got to clear a place for my printer before I can install it.

The gifts I got for my family were very well appreciated, and I'm most thankful for that than anything. For the second year in a row, I narrowly avoided purchasing a coinciding gift with my brother. And my brother almost bought me a jacket I already have.

I'm all familied out.... now I'm just waiting for some nice people to come on ICQ so I can get some non-family socializin' done.

Planning of the mole-man tour continues.

Having enjoyed the underground tour in Seattle, I'd like to see what's under the streets of London, Paris, and when I can find more specific information, Stockholm. I'll also be on the lookout for catacombs and disused subway tours in Germany, Luxembourg, and wherever else.

From the rules of Quiddler:

THE PLAY: The player to the dealer's left goes first. Play continues clockwise. Each turn starts with either drawing a card from the stockpile or picking up the top discard. The turn is completed by discarding one card. A player can only lay cards on the table when going out or, in turn, after another player has gone out.

Of course, it forgot to tell us there was a discard pile, or what "going out" means. I'll have to read these rules a few times over...
