well, I went home today for the first time in about 30 hours...

When I approached my door, I saw the apartment's monthly newsletter on the floor, and then noticed that my next-door neighbor's was still pinned to the door.

Then I noticed the door was ajar.

"Hello?" I called out, as I cautiously nudged the door open.

I've never been happier to see two black guys I've never met in my apartment.

They were fixing my kitchen tile, finally. Hooray!

My first "long-lost friend" found through a BBS was my grade school librarian, Mrs. Kim.

I found her on a BBS my junior high school had set up, that only two other people and myself ever used. I was in the eighth grade.

That BBS wasn't Year-1990 compliant. It thought the year was 198;.
