I decided to walk to the general vicinity of The Pointe in search of fireworks. I only caught a glimpse of them on the horizon, after getting lost in the many twisting, curving roads in the neighborhood, going over a few hills, and treading carefully along unpaved, unlit paths that were obscured by the many scenery-highlighting footlights that tend to litter an upscale place like that. It was quite an adventure.
On the way home I got chocolate soy milk.
