Mad dash

I was about to step into the shower, thinking I had plenty of time to get ready for work, when I realized I hadn't paid my rent like I thought I would last night.

And I had two minutes to put on some clothes, including my sunglasses, and run to the manager's office with a rent check I hadn't written out yet.

I made it just in time.

There is the weirdest sound coming from my upstairs neighbor.

Every minute or so, there's this vibrating sound that swells and then subsides very quickly. It sounds kind of like a passing car. It is quite plainly coming from the area between the bathroom sink and the bedroom and closet doors.
