My doctor was extremely surprised that I was traveling to Europe, even though that was the entire reason I was having a physical in the first place. And I know I mentioned this to him when I was there last month, because he suggested a Hepatitis-B vaccine if I was going to be sexually active, but didn't really mention anything else, so I sort of shrugged it off. Now he's telling me I'm going to need malaria, some meta-cochle-whatever thing I can't pronounce, tetanus boosters...

And he seems completely in the dark about my immunization record, even though I'm fairly certain I faxed them in a month ago.

Also, instead of a paper gown, I got a big paper sheet to wrap around myself.

Actually, looking at the CDC's website, the risk in Western Europe is no greater than in the U.S. I'd better bring some Immodium A-D, though.

Yeah, I was wondering about the malaria shot. Is Europe really a malaria zone? I would have never guessed.

Imodium is a good idea; don't leave home without it. And when it comes to the hookers, wear a rubber, dude.
