 I voted by mail last year.  I want to vote by mail in subsequent years as well.  Joe Biden won my state, and the institutions in my state did not buckle to political pressure, at the time.  I watched the votes certified by livestream, at both the county and state level.  It was, however, a narrow victory, probably only possible because of massive get-out-the-vote efforts.  Some people had to ride to the polls on horseback.  If not for such efforts, and if not for the mercy of people of color who had little reason to trust the system, our country would have been condemned for another four years of fascist escalation, amidst a pandemic where Trump controls the vaccine supply.

 

And the Republicans know that if the same people are all allowed to vote again, they might no longer control the Arizona state government.  So, much like Georgia, they wrote a lot of bald-faced voter suppression bills.  But suddenly this week they all went on hold, as if they were waiting for something.

Right now there's a "full transparency" audit going on in Arizona, funded and staffed by OANN.  They were granted access by Arizona's Republican-controlled Senate.  But we know it's bipartisan because they have both Republicans, and Republicans who constantly announce they're Bernie Democrats, which is how all authentic democratic socialists describe themselves.

 

They're livestreaming the whole thing, and I suppose I'm supposed to ask any magicians I can reach if there's any evidence of magicians tricks that they'll be using to sneak in doctored ballots to announce they found.  But I don't think I need to, because nobody's manning the metal detectors.  Why would they?  Any disruption at all, whether it's a grade school stink bomb or an IED, would only further their goal of delegitimizing the election that I voted in.  

 

one thing I've learned about fascism, and I hope the skeptic community at large is finally seeing it: they've already accounted for debunking in their strategy. Even if they come out with super-giga-fake fraud evidence, it doesn't matter because the media will deliver unto them a grand audience.  And if the audience is too small, they'll cry "free speech" and "liberal bias" until they buckle again. I wonder if Jimmy Kimmel will tussel the MyPillow guy's hair because he's such a harmless character.  and I wonder how many people will learn everything they know about the AZ Audit that night.
